Neurotransmitters & Psyche
Measuring neurotransmitters and stress hormones in saliva and urine is a valuable addition to the diagnostic spectrum. It provides insight into the functional state of the neuroendocrine stress axis.
Disturbances in this system have a reinforcing effect on a variety of diseases, such as hypertension, depression, PTSD, neurodegeneration, ADHD, burnout, myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME/CFS), fibromyalgia, MCS, autoimmune diseases and many more.
Using many patient examples, the interpretation of findings is practiced and targeted therapeutic measures are explained that can also be used by non-medical therapists.
