Functional Neurobiology

Functional Neurobiology

Neuroplasticity is a key factor for resilience, mental well-being, performance, and healthy aging. Several key regulatory systems ensure a defined and individualized character in these aspects, with specific strengths and weaknesses. These include enzymes of the neurotransmitter system in the form of MAO and COMT (dopamine, serotonin, melatonin), methylation metabolism, and the BDNF signaling pathway. Metabolic aspects and the gut-brain axis also play an enormously important role, and neuroinflammatory processes can radically alter the situation. The situation is therefore not insubstantial, and a structured approach for daily practice is essential. The goal of this webinar is to lay the foundations in this regard so that a successful introduction to this fascinating topic can be achieved.
