Lecture · Tuesday, October 20, 2026 · Dr. Henning Sartor

Photons & Mitochondria

Physical & mental performance are largely based on sufficient cellular energy production. Whether in professional life, in sports, or in social life – sustainable vitality requires efficient regulation of energy metabolism. Mitochondria play a central role as the main site of cellular ATP synthesis.

In addition to classic energy carriers such as carbohydrates & fatty acids, numerous co-factors, micronutrients & regulatory mechanisms influence mitochondrial function. Current scientific work also discusses the possible role of electromagnetic cell communication or so-called bio-photons in the context of cellular regulation & energy processes.

The lecture sheds light on the current state of knowledge regarding mitochondrial energy production & discusses the potential importance of bio-photonic mechanisms for diagnostics & therapy. In addition, therapeutic approaches & their practical integration into clinical & therapeutic everyday life are presented.

Lecture · Tuesday, October 20, 2026 · Dr. Kurt E. Müller

Longevity – what we don't worry about

"Longevity" emerged as a buzzword in the Silicon Valley environment & cannot be attributed to any single individual. Key proponents include David Sinclair, Peter Attia & Aubrey de Grey; important institutions are the Buck Institute (USA) & the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing. Many doctors initially saw it as a rehash of the anti-aging wave. However, the term sounds more optimistic & marketable.

Tech billionaires like Bryan Johnson or Peter Thiel are driving the idea forward: extending lifespan & healthy life span through nutrition, micronutrients, sleep, stress reduction, mental fitness and biohacking. The boundaries to transhumanism are fluid. At the same time, psychological burdens, social uncertainty & the desire for assisted dying are growing. This lecture sheds light on these contradictions & questions the future vision of humanity.

Lecture · Wednesday, 21.10.2026 · Rolf Duda

Breathing for Longevity

20,000 breaths a day – and most people give away their most powerful tool. Yet, breathing is the most direct leverage point for the nervous system & thus for stress, regeneration & cell health. Those who breathe correctly influence heart rate variability, oxygen supply & inflammatory markers – all central factors for a long, vital life.

In this lecture, Rolf Duda demonstrates how neurorespiratory regulation can be specifically applied to improve energy, focus & sleep & measurably slow down biological aging. Scientifically sound, immediately noticeable & integrable into daily life – a tool to stay vital where others reach their limits.

Lecture (English) · Wednesday, 21.10.2026 · Prof. Dr. Hanna Kokko

A long life: how desirable is it, evolutionarily speaking?

Evolutionary biology is much more than a quest to understand continual improvement. Naively, one might think that if natural selection continually seeks out the 'best' solutions, by now one best-performing organism should have emerged. Yet, instead of a march in one particular direction, evolution produces great diversity. This is true even for characteristics such as lifespan that appear easily arrangeable on an axis from worse to better. For example, for every superbly long-lived shark species, there are very many other species of fish that die at a much younger age.

The talk explains why senescence evolution is understandable from first principles, using mathematics as well as statistical analyses. Interestingly, birds appear to senesce less than mammals do, and the reasons can go back millions of years, when the ancestors of modern-day birds were relatively large-bodied dinosaurs.

The talk will be given in English

Lecture · Thursday, 22.10.2026 · Dr. Kurt E. Müller

Membranes determine biological age

All organs, organelles & functional spaces are surrounded by membranes. Their basic structure is similar in warm-blooded animals: the main components are lipids & proteins, supplemented by small amounts of glycoproteins & glycolipids. Important lipid groups are glycerophospholipids, sphingolipids & cholesterol. Proteins are responsible for substance exchange, communication & enzymatic functions.

Membranes consist of amphiphilic structures with hydrophilic heads & hydrophobic tails. In water, micelles or bilayers are formed. Cholesterol significantly influences the fluidity of the membrane. Since lipids are susceptible to oxidation, ubiquinone & vitamin E protect against damage. The ratio of lipids & proteins varies depending on the membrane & also determines the susceptibility to lipophilic & hydrophilic pollutants.

Lecture · Thursday, 22.10.2026 · Dr. med. Hardy Walle

Integration & Monetization of Longevity Offerings in Medical or Healing Practices

The rising prevalence of overweight, obesity & metabolic-associated fatty liver disease (MASLD) poses significant challenges to the healthcare system. At the same time, it is evident that curative & preventive approaches in the publicly funded setting have been insufficiently implemented so far. This opens up a relevant field of action for medical & therapeutic practices in the sense of longevity medicine.

The lecture sheds light, in a practical way, on how evidence-based longevity interventions – exemplified by liver fasting according to Dr. Worm – can be integrated into everyday life and, at the same time, offered in an economically sensible manner. In addition to medical effects such as rapid improvement of metabolic parameters & a high remission rate in type 2 diabetes, structural, organizational & monetary aspects will also be discussed.

Using the Prevention Hub platform, it will be demonstrated how standardized programs can be efficiently implemented, patients can be supported sustainably & new revenue potentials can be tapped, with the aim of reducing disease progression & extending healthy years of life.

Lecture · Friday, October 23, 2026 · Dr. Alexander Hierl

Functional Longevity Cardiology

Functional longevity in cardiology aims not only to maintain heart health but to actively optimize it and prevent age-related functional decline early on. The focus is on innovative diagnostic approaches, personalized prevention strategies, and the targeted modulation of central metabolic and inflammatory processes.

The presentation will explore how modern cardiological concepts can be linked with longevity medicine to ensure the long-term performance of the cardiovascular system. Practical approaches from functional medicine will show how individual risk profiles can be identified and sustainable interventions implemented.

Lecture · Friday, 23.10.2026 · Christian Burghardt

Our Roadmap for Longevity: The Causa Logica Principle

The Causa Logica principle takes a systemic approach to the sustainable promotion of health & longevity. Using the PCL levels, it shows how micronutrients can be used in a targeted & synergistic way to support central biological processes – from cell energy & mitochondrial function to organ & system levels such as the gut, cardiovascular system, immune system & nervous system.

The lecture provides practical insights into how a cause-oriented, functional strategy addresses individual imbalances & builds long-term resilience. Supplemented by clinical case studies, it clearly demonstrates how theory can be translated into concrete therapeutic applications.

Morning Routine
Monday-Friday mornings 7-8:30 AM

Start the day with a dynamic yoga practice, inspired by Ashtanga Yoga, but more creative & playful (Rocket Yoga). Designed for participants with yoga experience who are ready to go deeper – in strength, flexibility & body awareness.

Each morning session focuses on a specific theme: arm balances, hip openers, inversions & backbends. Each class stands alone; participants are challenged to explore their own limits, but always have the choice between different variations & intensity levels.

🧘🏻‍♀️Note: Bring a towel & water bottle, as well as comfortable yoga clothing.
Mats & yoga equipment are provided.

Yoga for Beginners
with Dr. Lea Jakob

Afternoon Workshop
Monday-Thursday 3-4:30 PM

An accessible introduction to your own yoga practice – no previous experience, no expectations, no "wrong" way to step onto the mat. In 90 minutes, the foundations of the sun salutation will be taught step by step, with time to understand & try it out.

The first part is dynamic (movement, breath, body orientation), the second part completely changes pace: In the Yin Yoga section, simple positions are held longer to experience yoga beyond fitness & flexibility as a practice of mindfulness. The workshop ends with a guided Shavasana.

🧘🏻‍♀️Note: Bring a towel & water bottle, as well as comfortable yoga clothing.
Mats & yoga equipment will be provided.

Breathing & Breathing Techniques
with Rolf Duda

Afternoon Workshop
Monday-Thursday 3-4:30 PM

Breathing
is one of the most direct pathways to regulation, presence & genuine regeneration. Rolf Duda demonstrates why longevity depends not only on bio-markers, routines, or knowledge, but on whether a person can feel internally safe, connected & adaptable. Breathing thereby becomes a bridge between the nervous system, body & consciousness.

Participants will gain a new perspective on how breathing patterns contribute to stress, exhaustion & dysregulation, and how conscious breathwork can support healing, resilience & sustainable health. A profound impulse for all who want to not just extend longevity, but bring it to life.

Cooking Workshop "Healthy Eating"
with Esma Storck

Afternoon Workshop
Monday-Thursday 3-4:30 PM

Modern diets are increasingly characterized by ultra-processed foods, isolated nutrients, and a growing distance from traditional preparation methods. This workshop combines traditional nutritional knowledge with modern medical insights and provides practical, realistic approaches for the daily consulting work of doctors and naturopaths.

The workshop presents a practical concept based on two pillars:
Nutrient-Oriented Nutrition: High nutrient density through conscious selection and preparation of grains, fats, and animal, plant-based, and fermented foods; preparation methods to improve bioavailability; everyday, family-friendly strategies.

Relief through Reduction of Antinutrients: Targeted minimization of antinutritive factors such as phytates, lectins, and oxalates through traditional techniques (soaking, fermenting, sourdough leavening, long cooking times), sensible food combinations for blood sugar regulation, and an objective assessment of the clinical relevance of antinutrients.

Performance Diagnostics Workshop
