Hybrid training

Why prevention & epigenetics are the key to the future of health.

The reason behind the training.

In an era of increasing chronic diseases, it becomes clear that standardized recommendations are often insufficient. Health is not created through general knowledge, but through individual strategies that address the cellular level.

This training provides an understanding of central metabolic and regulatory processes, as well as the effect of epigenetic factors such as nutrition, exercise, or stress management on gene activity. This reveals how lifestyle choices shape health and disease risks in the long term.

The goal is to design prevention in a holistic, personalized, and sustainable way – based on genetic predispositions, epigenetic mechanisms, and individual circumstances.

Become a Certified Therapist for Prevention & Epigenetics in Practice & empower people to rethink and sustainably implement health.

Module Overview

In total, the training comprises five modules, which lead from the basics to case studies.

💡 Module 1

Introduction to Prevention and Epigenetics: Concepts, Relevance & Fields of Application

This module provides practical knowledge on prevention, focusing on the establishment and integration of a preventive practice. Topics covered include longevity, healthy aging, and supplementation strategies, supplemented by legal foundations such as the Genetic Diagnostics Act, data protection, and informed consent. Furthermore, genetic fundamentals and modern methods for detecting SNPs and mutations are presented – as a basis for applying genetic findings in prevention.

🍏 Module 2

Nutritional science fundamentals & genetic aspects of nutrient metabolism

This module provides basic knowledge on macro- and micronutrients and their role in prevention and metabolism. Genetic aspects are explored in depth, including those related to vitamins D, C, iron, and B12, as well as variants such as FUT2 and MTHFR. Furthermore, the genetics of food intolerances in the context of personalized nutrition are discussed.

🔬 Module 3

Science meets practice: Fundamentals of prevention and epigenetics

This module provides an introduction to the fundamentals of epigenetic mechanisms and their role in prevention. It covers genetic risk factors for lifestyle diseases, as well as epigenetic influences on inflammation, aging, and Alzheimer's disease. A focus is placed on stress as a significant environmental factor.

🧬 Module 4

Preventive medicine in the context of genetics, diagnostics and behavior

The module covers genetic influencing factors on metabolism and behavior, including obesity and variants in alcohol and caffeine metabolism. It addresses detox genetics, laboratory diagnostic methods for risk profile determination, and practical communication tools for the successful implementation of preventive recommendations.

🔍 Module 5

Integration and Case Studies

The final module applies the acquired knowledge in a practical way. Using case studies, genetic, epigenetic, diagnostic, and therapeutic aspects are analyzed to link theory and practice and gain confidence in dealing with individual prevention concepts.
