Giovanna Hoffmann has achieved what many dream of: She has turned her hobby into a career. And she's been quite successful at it. Growing up in the Bremen area, she progressed through the youth teams at Werder Bremen, where she eventually made her debut for the women's team in 2014.
Further stints at renowned clubs followed, such as SC Freiburg. The greatest highlight of her still young career was probably her debut in the German national team jersey in October 2024. Since then, she has been an integral part of the team.
