Antioxidants such as vitamin C and vitamin E protect the cells from oxidative stress1 and, according to science, are vital for healthy cell metabolism. At first glance this might sound rather abstract, but perhaps the following picture will help: A banana gets brown spots after only a few days. The cause of this is oxidative damage by atmospheric oxygen, also known as oxidative stress. In addition to this normal oxidative reaction, oxidative stress can also be triggered by so-called free radicals. These enter our body through external influences such as air pollution, UV radiation or heavy metals and can trigger oxidative stress if there is an excessive ratio of free radicals in the body. Oxidative stress is associated with ageing processes such as age spots on the skin. Cells can generally be protected from oxidative damage1 by antioxidants such as vitamins C and E, which bind free radicals in the body making them harmless.
Antioxidants* is a vegan product with high-quality ingredients. The product combines anti-oxidative substances such as vitamins C and E as well as other special substances such as alpha lipoic acid, coenzyme Q10 and secondary plant compounds into a unique complex mixture that is mainly designed against oxidative stress1. This is also beneficial for the immune system, especially after intense physical exercise2. Antioxidants* supports the energy-yielding metabolism3, increases iron absorption4 and as a result reduces tiredness and fatigue5. The connective tissue of blood vessels, skin, teeth, gums, bones and cartilage is supported by Antioxidants* enabling the normal formation of collagen6. For our Antioxidants* we only use valuable nutrients and plant substances - protected in a vegan capsule shell made from pullulan. We deliberately avoid unnecessary fillers and additives.
This product is vegan and free of allergens (gluten, lactose, etc.) in according to Regulation (EU) No. 1169 / 2011, Annex II.
Do not consume if other astaxanthin ester-containing food supplements are consumed on the same day. Not suitable for infants, children and adolescents under 14 years, or for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
