Our MITOcare add·on Iron LIPO Spray contains the essential trace element in the form of the popular iron bisglycinate. In this chelated form, iron is bound to two glycine molecules, increasing bioavailability. Iron is supplemented by vitamin C, which also increases iron absorption1. In addition, the particles of our LIPO spray are microscopically small, which means that absorption begins via the oral mucosa. The effect therefore occurs more quickly. These factors make the spray a smart and bioavailable companion.

Iron is an essential trace element that must be supplied to the body through food. Among other things, the body uses it to form the red blood pigment haemoglobin. The task of haemoglobin is to bind oxygen, which supplies all of the body's cells. A sufficient supply of iron is therefore essential for both blood formation2 and oxygen transport3. In combination with vitamin C, iron also supports energy metabolism4 and helps to combat tiredness and fatigue5.

The German National Nutrition Survey II from 2008 already showed that over 75% of women of childbearing age did not meet the recommended iron intake. Today, significantly more people also follow a vegan or vegetarian diet - groups of people who - just like competitive athletes - can be sensitive to possible nutritional deficiencies.

Our spray stands out due to the absence of sweeteners, artificial preservatives and alcohol, yet still has a pleasant, natural blueberry flavour.
