Vegan formulation

Mitochondria are the power stations of the cell and supply energy for all biochemical processes in the body. Energy is produced by the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats, from which the “fuel” ATP (= adenosine triphosphate) is generated via complex metabolic processes. Body cells with a high energy consumption and high metabolic activity, such as brain, nerve and muscle cells, have about 1600 to 2000 mitochondria per cell. In egg cells, this number can go up to several hundred thousand. As part of the complex energy supply processes, the mitochondria require various micronutrients, some of which are also called mitotropic substances.

Our product Mitochondria Multi Komplex is a versatile and vegan nutrient complex containing all 13 vitamins, various minerals and amino acids, alpha-lipoic acid, coenzyme Q10, taurine and various plant substances, such as OPC, quercetin, resveratrol and traditional mushrooms. Furthermore, the B vitamins known as co-factors in the energy-yielding metabolism are used in bioactive form, such as riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 as adenosylcobalamin1. Together with vitamin C and magnesium they also contibute to less fatigue2.

When should I consult my doctor before taking it?

Dazu zählen u. a.

  • Mitochondrien Formula Sport bzw.

✓ NADH + NAD Total
✓ NADH + PQQ Total
✓ NAD Total + PQQ Total
✓ NADH + NAD Total + PQQ Total
✓ NADH + Mitochondrien Formula Sport
✓ NADH + Mitochondrien Multi Komplex (vegane Alternative)

Which complex product from the category
"Energy & Mitochondria" is right for me?

Why are mitochondria so important?

The majority of cellular energy is produced in the mitochondria – almost all cells in our body contain them. They are the powerhouses of our cells and enable the formation of ATP, the universal energy carrier of the body. Wherever there is life, energy is needed – or, as we say at MITOcare: life is electricity.

Cellular energy as the foundation for well-being is our heritage – the core competence from which the MITOcare brand originated. That is why mitochondria are far more than just a key focus area for us; they are the linchpin of our Causa Logica principle: where cellular energy is created, numerous biological processes begin that connect the entire metabolism. Our brand logo, the hummingbird, also reflects this – due to its exceptionally energy-intensive flight, its flight muscles have a particularly high density of mitochondria.

Mitochondrial energy metabolism itself is a highly complex interplay of various biological processes. From the provision of energy-rich substrates to the citric acid cycle & the respiratory chain and protection against oxidative stress, numerous metabolic pathways intertwine. These four central areas form the scientific basis of our product development.

The goal of our formulations is to specifically provide the body with the micronutrients & cofactors that mitochondria need to convert nutrients into energy – so that your cells can work with what they need. Instead of focusing on individual ingredients, we develop formulations that utilize the natural synergies of selected micronutrients and natural substances.

All products address different areas of the same process – from comprehensive all-round complexes to targeted formulations for individual metabolic processes. Here you will find which one suits your goal:

Note: Dietary supplements are not a substitute for a balanced diet & healthy lifestyle. For existing health concerns, we always recommend a medical history & assessment by a doctor or naturopath first.

PCL 03 > Energy & Mitochondria

Cell Energy as a Foundation

Most of the cellular energy is produced in the mitochondria, and almost all cells in our body possess them. They are the powerhouses of our cells and enable the formation of ATP, the universal energy carrier of the body. Where there is life, energy is needed – or, as we at MITOcare say: Life is electricity.

Therefore, mitochondria are much more than a research focus for MITOcare. They form the linchpin of our Principle Causa Logica – because where cell energy is created, numerous biological processes begin that connect the entire metabolism.

This understanding is also reflected in our brand logo: the hummingbird. Due to its exceptionally energy-intensive flight, its flight muscles have a particularly high density of mitochondria and thus symbolize what drives MITOcare – efficient cell energy as the basis of biological processes.

All complex products related to mitochondria & cell energy are summarized in PCL Level 03 – Energy & Mitochondria.

Mitochondrial energy metabolism is a highly complex interplay of various biological processes. From the provision of energy-rich substrates via the citric acid cycle & the respiratory chain to protection against oxidative stress, numerous metabolic pathways intertwine. These four central areas of mitochondrial energy production form the scientific basis of our product development.

Instead of focusing on individual ingredients, we develop formulations that utilize natural synergies of selected micronutrients and natural substances. Bioavailability, high raw material quality, purity & a scientifically sound composition are at the heart of every development.

Each complex product within the PCL Level 03 – Energy & Mitochondria pursues its own biological focus – from comprehensive all-round complexes to targeted formulations for individual metabolic processes. Together, they form a coordinated concept that considers mitochondrial energy metabolism from different biological perspectives.

Potent cellular energy is not generated in isolation. Before mitochondria can convert nutrients into energy, they require the right building blocks and cofactors.

That's why a biologically sound basic supply at MITOcare begins with CL01 – Macronutrients and CL02 – Micronutrients. Building on this, PCL03 – Energy & Mitochondria complements this foundation with selected micronutrients and natural substances for mitochondrial energy metabolism.

Depending on individual focus, the products of PCL03 – Energy & Mitochondria offer a sensible addition to a biologically sound supplement routine – from all-round complexes to specialized formulations.
