Nucleotides are the building blocks of DNA and RNA and are involved in virtually all cell activities. While DNA contains the genetic information, in other words the complete blueprint for the design and function of the entire body, RNA acts as a carrier for this information. Both have the vital task of controlling the structural, metabolic and energetic functions of cells. The body is able to produce nucleotides itself and can also absorb them through food. They are highly concentrated in breast milk, animal intestines and to a lesser extent in legumes. Growth and maintenance of all body functions require constant cell renewal and cell division. Cells with a high cell division rate show an increased consumption of nucleotides, such as blood, nerve and immune cells as well as the cells of the small intestine wall, which indicates their essential importance for the immune system.



In addition to the five approved nucleotides, Nucleotide Powder contains a yeast extract rich in ribonucleic acid (RNA) and 1000 mg inositol per daily dose. The zinc contained in the product is also a key agent in cell division and DNA synthesis.1,2 At the same time, it has a positive effect on the fatty acid metabolism5, cognitive function6 and on skin, hair and bones.4

Dosage:
Take 2 × daily 1g (equivalent to 1 heaped measuring spoon) stirred into 100-200ml lukewarm water or herbal tea and consume - at least 30 minutes before a meal.
