Mitochondria are the power stations of the cell and supply energy for all biochemical processes in the body. The number and vitality of mitochondria is closely linked to our quality of life. As part of the complex energy supply processes, the mitochondria require specific and finely tuned micronutrients, which are also sometimes referred to as mitotropic substances.
The coenzyme PQQ (pyrroloquinoline quinone) and its properties were only “discovered” and researched more closely in 2010. In food this substance is only found in traces. Similar to the coenzyme Q10, which has already been discovered in the 1950s, PQQ is also a vitamin-like compound that is found directly in the mitochondria of the cell. Since 2018, PQQ has been officially authorised by the European Union for use in food supplements.7
The product PQQ Total is supplemented with bioactive vitamin B6 and purely natural vitamin C. Both micronutrients control the energy metabolism described above.1 They act against tiredness and fatigue3, contribute to the normal function of the immune system4, and support psychological functions2, such as cognitive and memory performance, drive, motivation etc. Vitamin C also acts as an antioxidant5 and is able to regenerate and reactivate other antioxidants such as vitamin E.6

For our MITOcare PQQ Total we only use valuable nutrient and plant compounds – packed into a vegan capsule shell. We do not use any fillers and, as a conscientious choice, we refrain from using any artificial colourants and preservatives or binding and separating agents.
This product is vegan and free of any GMO content or allergens (gluten, lactose etc.) in accordance with EU Regulation no. 1169 / 2011, Annex II.
Dosage:
Take 1 capsule 1x per day with approx. 200 ml of still water – for best effect at least 30 minutes before a meal.
