Patented branded raw material KANEKA UBIQUINOL™

Rapid absorption with high bioavailability

With 357 sprays per bottle

Preserved without alcohol / without potassium sorbate

100 % obtained from natural raw materials

Our MITOcare add·on Coenzyme Q10 LIPO Spray contains the patented branded raw material KANEKA UBIQUINOL™, which is present in microscopically small particles in our LIPO Spray. This allows absorption to begin in the oral mucosa. The bioavailability is significantly higher than that of a standard capsule product. No sweeteners, alcohol or potassium sorbate are used. The entire product is obtained from 100% natural raw material sources, with the natural orange peel flavouring providing a pleasant taste.

Coenzyme Q10 is a fat-soluble, vitamin-like substance that the body has to produce itself from other substances. It can also be obtained in small quantities from food. The terms ubiquinone and ubiquinol are derived from the word ‘ubiquitous’, which means ‘occurring everywhere’ and indicates the presence of coenzyme Q10 throughout the body. It is known that Q10 synthesis in the body decreases with increasing age. The body's own Q10 plays an important role in the respiratory chain in the mitochondria - the site of energy production. It is involved in oxidative phosphorylation, through which approx. 90% of the body's total energy (ATP = adenosine triphosphate) is generated. Interestingly, organs with high energy requirements such as the heart, liver and lungs also have the highest Q10 concentration in the body. Q10 was first discovered in beef hearts in the 1950s. This marked the beginning of research into this coenzyme. The major breakthrough came in 1978 when the British scientist Peter Mitchell was awarded the Nobel Prize for Chemistry for his research into Q10. He was able to demonstrate the outstanding importance of the body's own Q10 for cell energy production.
