The MITOcare Premium Collagen is a special bovine collagen hydrolysate, obtained from Argentine cattle with 100% certified grass feeding. Collagen hydrolysate is formed when collagen is broken down into smaller peptides by a process (hydrolysis). Hydrolysis splits the long strands of protein into shorter chains, which are better absorbed by the body. This has the advantage that bioavailability can be improved by this process. Collagen is very often associated with great skin, hair and nails as well as firm connective tissue. In addition, proteins contribute to an increase and maintenance of muscle mass¹ and the maintenance of normal bones².

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body and plays an important role in the structure of skin, joints, bones and other tissues. This endogenous structural protein consists of long, fibrous protein strands and is used for the strength and elasticity of tissue. There are at least 28 different types of collagen in total, which are found in different parts of the body and each fulfill specific functions. They are divided into the three most common types - type I (in skin, tendons, bones), type II (in cartilage) and type III (in skin, muscles, blood vessels). Collagen production in the body decreases with increasing age.

We only use valuable nutrients for our premium collagen. We deliberately avoid unnecessary fillers and additives.

This product is produced without allergens (gluten, lactose etc.) in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 1169 / 2011, Annex II.

Dosage:
Stir 1 x daily 10 g (equivalent to approx. 2 slightly heaped tablespoons) into at least 100 ml of water, milk, coffee, cocoa, smoothie or juice once a day and consume. Dissolves well.
