Our MITOcare add·on L-Arginine contains the amino acid L-arginine together with vitamin C. In the body, L-arginine is involved in the breakdown of ammonia in the urea cycle and is also a crucial factor in nitric oxide synthesis (NO synthesis). The included vitamin C supports the function of blood vessels1, is involved in energy metabolism2, supports the immune system3 and contributes to cell protection against oxidative stress4.
