More than an oil – your well-conceived basis for cell balance & daily well-being

At MITOcare, we integrate every complex product into our well-conceived system: the Causa Logica Principle. It helps you take nutrients not indiscriminately, but targeted & synergistically – step by step, with a clear plan.

The basis of all provision lies in macronutrients – especially high-quality fats. Because: cell membranes largely consist of fatty acids. They protect cells, regulate nutrient exchange & are crucial for all metabolic processes.

Since the body cannot produce many of these fatty acids – like Omega 3 – itself, they must be consumed daily through diet. This is precisely why high-quality oils are part of basic care – and precisely why we developed our Premium Natural Omega 3 Oil. Our founder Christian Burghardt has been pursuing a clear credo for years: "Oils, oils, oils – they are the foundation."

We are pleased to finally introduce our first own Omega 3 oil – with an optimally coordinated formula for the supply of your cell membranes, your metabolism & your daily well-being.

Our Premium Natural Omega 3 Oil from sustainable wild catch – uncompromising in quality & purity

Our Premium Natural Omega 3 Oil provides you daily with 1,460mg EPA & 910mg DHA – obtained from certified sustainably wild-caught fish with a "Friend of the Sea®" seal, cold-filtered, as natural as possible & in bioavailable form. No concentrates, no waste, no additives – only what supports your body.

We deliberately use anchovies, sardines & mackerel, as they have a particularly balanced fatty acid profile – ideal for supplying cell membranes. At the same time, they are among the fish species with a naturally very low heavy metal & pollutant load.

Each batch is carefully cleaned of heavy metals, PCBs and other pollutants and then tested in the laboratory – without affecting the natural structure and quality of the fatty acids. The oil is cold-filtered to preserve the valuable omega-3 fatty acids in their original form.

For natural preservation, we deliberately use Vitamin E – a fat-soluble vitamin that not only acts as an antioxidant and protects the oil from going rancid, but also synergistically fits the formula. A touch of rosemary extract rounds off the antioxidant effect and additionally ensures natural freshness.

A sign of the high quality is the low Totox value (measurement before adding the natural lemon oil), which averages 10 and naturally varies from batch to batch – a recognized indicator of purity and oxidation stability. For the pleasant taste, the oil is refined with high-quality lemon oil aroma – making it taste fresh and citrusy instead of fishy and can be versatilely integrated into everyday life, for example, pure, in smoothies or over salads.

The origin of our fish oil is documented by an independent sustainability certificate from Friend of the Sea®. This confirms that the fishing comes from selected wild-capture areas where attention is paid to stock protection, gentle fishing methods, and traceability throughout the entire supply chain. This ensures that the environment, marine ecosystems & future generations are protected – and you can rely on a responsibly sourced supply of high-quality omega-3 fatty acids.

Naturally support cellular processes – with the essential Omega-3 fatty acids EPA & DHA

Omega-3 fatty acids are essential, polyunsaturated fatty acids that the body cannot produce independently & therefore must be obtained through diet or supplementation. They are structural components of cell membranes and are particularly found in tissues with high metabolic activity. DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) is mainly found in the nerve cells of the brain and in the retina of the eye, while EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) serves as a precursor for various messenger substances that are involved in various regulatory processes in the body.

According to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), EPA and DHA contribute to maintaining a normal blood triglyceride level – i.e., keeping blood fat levels in balance – with a daily intake of 2 g. This is a central factor for healthy cell & fat metabolism and can thus contribute to prevention & support long-term well-being.

Our Premium Natural Omega 3 Oil contains an exceptionally high amount of EPA (1,460 mg) and DHA (910 mg) per daily dose – in a deliberately chosen EPA:DHA ratio of 1.6:1. EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) is, alongside DHA, one of the most important long-chain omega-3 fatty acids of marine origin. In the body, EPA can, among other things, serve as a precursor for various biologically active lipid mediators. Together with DHA, EPA contributes to normal heart function.***

MITOcare Premium Quality – fair in price, strong in effect

With our Premium Natural Omega 3 Oil, you supplement your daily supply with a central building block for your cellular metabolism – high-quality formulated, fair in price & versatile. Just 10ml once a day is enough to optimally supply you with high-quality Omega 3 from sustainable wild catch.

Developed in the usual MITOcare quality & based on scientifically sound expertise – with the aim of logically combining natural active principles and specifically addressing where well-being & balance begins: at the cellular level.

Why are Omega 3 oils important?

Omega 3 oils provide essential fatty acids, which are among the vital macronutrients – they are part of the daily basic care. Our body needs them, but cannot produce them itself. Healthy fats such as EPA and DHA support the normal function of Heart¹, Brain² & eyesight³, contribute to maintaining a healthy triglyceride levels⁴ and are indispensable for the development flexible cell membranes.

In addition, omega-3 fatty acids help to Imbalance due to too much Omega-6 (e.g. from ready-made products) – an important step for a healthy inflammatory process in the body. transport fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) is not possible without healthy oils.

Our Premium Natural Omega 3 Oil provides you with 1,460 mg EPA and 910 mg DHA per daily dose – from sustainable wild-caught fish with "Friend of the Sea®" sustainability certificate, particularly pure & pleasant in taste due to natural Lemon oil – and therefore ideal for anyone who wants to support their well-being in a natural way.

Who should take Omega 3?

No matter whether young or old – the body needs Omega 3 every day. Omega-3 fatty acids such as EPA and DHA are among the essential macronutrients and should therefore be an integral part of the daily Basic care.

They fulfil many important functions in the body – among others as a structural component of the cell membranes. Cell membranes consist largely of fats – including omega-3 fatty acids. EPA and DHA help keep these membranes stable and permeable. Only when these cell membranes remain flexible and functional can cells function optimally and absorb nutrients. This is especially relevant in the heart¹, brain², and eyes³, where these fatty acids are present in high concentrations and can contribute to healthy cell function.

In addition: Our modern Nutrition often contains a excess of omega-6 fatty acids – for example, through sunflower oil or convenience foods. High-quality omega-3 fatty acids help balance this imbalance.

The study situation is also clear: A Meta-analysis with almost 73,000 participants shows that EPA and DHA contribute to lowering elevated blood lipid levels – especially in people with obesity or cardiovascular disease.
Further review also demonstrates the anti-inflammatory and heart-protective effects – especially of DHA.

Conclusion: Omega-3 supports the body at the cellular level – day after day – and is therefore a valuable foundation for people of all ages.

Which fish is used for the Omega 3 oil?

Only small, fatty marine fish such as anchovies, sardines and mackerel are used for the Premium Natural Omega 3 Oil. The entire fishing and processing process is certified by the Friends of the Sea® sustainability seal, which guarantees high standards. This seal certifies that fish stocks are not overfished, that careful fishing methods are used and that the traceability of the products is guaranteed transparently. The certification also includes strict environmental and social standards that ensure the protection of marine ecosystems and fair working conditions. This ensures that the Omega 3 oil is produced sustainably and actively supports the protection of the oceans.

The conscious selection of small fish species has the advantage that they naturally have a lower pollutant content and at the same time especially rich in omega-3 fatty acids are the ideal basis for a high-quality and pure fish oil.

In addition, the natural origin creates a complex fatty acid pattern of 27 different fatty acids – including short- and long-chain, saturated and unsaturated fatty acids. This variety specifically supports the structure and function of cell membranes, as they are balance of stability and flexibility – a crucial prerequisite for healthy cell functions.

What is the recommended daily dose?

The recommended daily dose is 10 ml once daily – simply measure using the enclosed measuring cup, pour pure onto a spoon and best take with a meal.

Important to know: According to EFSA (European Food Safety Authority), the total intake of EPA and DHA from all sources should not exceed 5 g per day.

Is marine omega-3 better than vegan omega-3 from algae?

Both marine and vegan Omega-3 can provide a high-quality supply of the essential fatty acids EPA and DHA enable – but there are differences:

Vegan Omega-3: It mostly comes from microalgae and contains mainly DHA, while EPA is present only in small amounts or not at all. However, EPA is also important – for example, for heart function and lipid metabolism.

Marine Omega-3 like high-quality fish oil naturally provides both fatty acids in an ideal balance. Our Premium Natural Omega-3 Oil contains per daily dose 1,460 mg EPA and 910 mg DHA – and additionally a natural fatty acid complex from over 30 different fatty acids. Due to the particularly gentle processing, the oil remains as natural and pure, which makes it a particularly high-quality source for daily omega-3 intake.

Those who eat a purely plant-based diet can Algae oil as an alternative. For everyone else, marine omega-3 offers a more comprehensive and generally more bioavailable supply.

Why no capsules?

Our Premium Natural Omega 3 Oil is deliberately offered in liquid form to natural structure, the purity of fatty acids and a best possible bioavailability. Capsules require additional processing steps and usually contain excipients or capsule materials, which could compromise product quality.

With the liquid form, we want to offer a high-quality alternative to classic capsule products – with versatile application possibilities. Whether pure from the spoon, in a smoothie, over a salad, in fruit juice or even in homemade mayonnaise – the oil can be flexibly and tastefully integrated into everyday life.

How pure and high-quality is the fish oil used?

Our Premium Natural Omega 3 Oil consists of 100% natural fish oil from carefully selected wild fishing areas. The fishing is carried out according to strict guidelines for sustainable fishing & is certified with the internationally recognized “Friend of the Sea®” seal.

To ensure the highest purity, the oil is controlled according to Norwegian standards and regularly tested for contaminants such as heavy metals and PCBs. It is specifically purified without altering the natural structure of the fatty acids. A corresponding quality control certificate is available for inspection.

The oil is cold-pressed and as unprocessed as possible, which preserves the delicate omega-3 fatty acids in their natural form. This gentle processing contributes to high bioavailability & effectiveness.

The Totox value, a recognized indicator of freshness and oxidation stability, is <12 (measured before adding the natural lemon oil) – and thus within an excellent range. Since this is a natural product, the Totox value may fluctuate slightly between batches, but remains consistently low thanks to regular monitoring.

The oil is except for the natural lemon oil and natural vitamin E (antioxidant for freshness & stability) free from additives.

With a daily dose of 1,460 mg EPA and 910 mg DHA, the oil offers a above-average content of marine omega-3 fatty acids – significantly more than many conventional products. The ratio of EPA to DHA is also optimally balanced to specifically support key bodily functions such as heart¹, brain², and vision³.

What is the Totox value?

The Totox value (Total Oxidation Value) is an internationally recognized quality indicator for the freshness and oxidation stability of fish oils. The lower the value, the fresher the oil. Our Premium Natural Omega 3 Oil has a Totox value of <12 – an excellent value that is well below the recommended limit of 26.

Since it is a Natural product since this is a very high quality oil, the Totox value may vary slightly between batches. All values are regularly tested and documented, and are consistently low – a sign of the consistently high quality and freshness of our oil.

Does the fish come from sustainable fishing?

Yes, the fish oil used comes from certified sustainable wild catches. The fish is caught exclusively in selected fishing areas in compliance with strict ecological and quality standards. The entire supply chain is certified by the internationally recognized “Friend of theSea®” seal - an independent sustainability seal for responsible fishing. Attention is paid not only to the protection of fish stocks, but also to the preservation of the marine ecosystem and transparent traceability.

Is the fish oil free from pollutants and heavy metals?

Yes – our Premium Natural Omega 3 Oil is regularly updated on Pollutants, heavy metals, PCBs and other residues. It undergoes a specially developed purification process in which unwanted substances are specifically removed without affecting the natural structure of the fatty acids.

Quality control is carried out according to strict Norwegian standards, a current Certificate of Analysis is available for inspection. In addition, the entire supply chain is certified by the internationally recognized “Friend of the Sea”-Seal certified.

This ensures that the oil free from harmful substances – a security that is not guaranteed when eating conventional fish from the supermarket, as it is often not specifically cleaned and tested.

How is the oil processed?

Our MITOcare Premium Natural Omega 3 Oil bears the internationally recognized “Friend of the Sea®” seal for sustainable fishing - proof of responsible origin and transparent processing along the entire supply chain.

The manufacturing process is optimized for maximum care, naturalness & freshness. The oil is extracted from small, fatty wild fish, cold processed and has a very low Totox value of <12 – a recognized indicator of particularly high freshness and low oxidation.

The processing includes several quality-determining steps:

  1. Cleaning: The crude oil is gently freed from unwanted residues such as heavy metals, PCBs and environmental toxins.
  2. Winterization (cold filtration): Turbidity and waxes are removed at low temperatures to improve the stability and purity of the oil.
  3. Finishing steps: The oil is visually and sensorially improved in further gentle processes without affecting the sensitive fatty acids.
  4. Addition of natural vitamin E: As a high-quality antioxidant, it protects the oil from oxidation and supports its shelf life in a natural way.
  5. Formulation: The oil is fine-tuned in its final composition – including natural lemon oil for a fresh taste without a fishy note.
  6. Bottling & Quality Control – each batch is carefully filled and tested in the laboratory to ensure high quality standards.

This controlled process creates a high-quality, natural Omega-3 oil with a balanced complex of 27 different fatty acids – ideal for daily care and targeted support of Cell membrane structure, heart function, vision and cognitive health.

What is the difference to the other Omega 3s you sell?

The Premium Natural Omega 3 Oil is MITOcare's first own Omega 3 oil, which we include in our product concept of the Principle Causa Logicas in the CL 01 macronutrient level for basic daily nutrition.

A special milestone, because Founder Christian Burghardt has been emphasizing for years the central importance of high-quality fatty acids for health – his credo: “Oils, oils, oils”. With the Premium Natural Omega 3 Oil, this claim has now been implemented directly in the MITOcare product world for the first time.

The most important differences at a glance:

  • Above-average content of EPA (1,460 mg) and DHA (910 mg) per daily dose
  • Complex of 27 different fatty acids – supports cell membrane structure (since cells require a natural diversity of short- and long-chain as well as saturated and unsaturated fatty acids to maintain the optimal balance between stability and fluidity of their membranes)
  • Cell membrane health in focus
  • High DHA content
  • Sustainable wild-caught
  • Natural & cold-pressed
  • Very low Totox value of <10 (especially fresh)

Why does our Omega 3 oil not contain polyphenols?

Our Premium Natural Omega 3 Oil was deliberately formulated without polyphenols, as our products fit into the logically successive, synergistic Principle Causa Logica. We recommend supplementation according to this system and, together with our MITO partners, work diagnostically according to this structure.

Omega 3 oils are part of the basic supply Macronutrients. For the targeted supply of Polyphenols, antioxidants & secondary plant substances we complement with our Causa Logica Level “Cells”.

Our Premium Natural Omega 3 Oil focuses on the Key Benefit – support of cell membrane structure by a Complex of over 30 different fatty acids, with a special focus on DHA and highly pure fish oil from sustainable wild catch.

How long does the oil last after opening?

Why is the Omega 3 oil bottled in PET bottles?

For our Premium Natural Omega 3 Oil we use BPA-free PET bottles because compared to glass significantly lighter and thus a lower CO₂ footprint during transport. This allows the Sustainably reduce environmental pollution. In addition, PET break-resistant and food-safe, which keeps the oil safely protected – without compromising on quality or durability.

Are there scientific studies on the composition &
Effect of the ingredients?

Yes – the composition of the Premium Natural Omega 3 Oil with a high proportion of EPA (1,460 mg) and DHA (910 mg) per daily dose is based on scientifically sound findings on their effects. The selection and ratio of the two fatty acids are specifically designed to Blood lipid levels, as well as Inflammatory processes and the Cell membrane structure to support.

Two key studies demonstrate these effects:

  1. Choi & Calder (2024) show in a systematic review that DHA has stronger anti-inflammatory effects compared to EPA and additionally the hormone Adiponectin which supports fatty acid breakdown and glucose metabolism. DHA also has a positive effect on heart rate, blood pressure, and oxidative stress markers.
    📄To the study on PubMed
  2. Wang et al. (2023) In a meta-analysis with almost 73,000 participants, they analyzed the relationship between omega-3 intake and lipid metabolism. Dose-dependent, linear reduction of triglycerides and non-HDL cholesterol – especially when taking 2 g of EPA/DHA per day or more.
    📄To the study on PubMed

The targeted combination of high DHA content and over 30 naturally occurring fatty acids was deliberately chosen to optimally support cell membrane structure – with a balanced mix of long and short chain fatty acids for the ideal balance of Stability and fluidity.

Which product from the "Lipids & Oils" category is right for me?
